Summer is coming!
I feel refreshed when I see school kids put on their summer uniform. I especially like the white shirts and white dresses my students are wearing. They look clean, fresh and energetic!
Seeing my kids have their uniform changed, I decided to have my apparel changed as well. No matter how much I change, my colours are still black, grey, blue, white, beige and earth. These are the colours I like and these are the colours for work.
To add some colours to my summer apparel, I wore sandals to work today. This is a pair of metalic coloured leather high-heeled sandals with back straps and little ribbons in the front. I bought the pair some time ago and I like them a lot. They are comfortable too. I can walk fast and even run a bit when I have them on.
To go with the pretty sandals, I can’t put on pantyhose, which is somehow quite unusual for me. I like wearing pantyhose because they can protect my legs and feet. I especialy like them in black because they will match up with my lovely black shoes and make the apparel formal. Anyway, I quite enjoy this sudden change of style.
Yet some of my students don’t seem to like it! Today, a small bunch of students kept studying my legs! Some didn’t just studying them, but examining! They fixed their eyes on my legs from time to time and that made me very uncomfortable. Perhaps they were counting the number of hair, insect stings and scars on my legs! They must have a hard and busy time because there’re numerous defects on my legs!
Come on! Your teacher is never pretty and perfect! You can easily find a lot of imperfection from me! My legs are never long and slim; they are like tree trunks I admit. I have scars on my legs because the skin on my legs is always dry and when I scratch the skin, peels and wounds appear. My legs are never delicate and smooth. Sorry to disappoint you!
Hope my ugly tree trunks have not polluted your eyes! You like them or not, I’m going to make them known in my new sandals this summer!
